Handheld Hedge Cutter
This course introduces trainees to hedge cutting techniques including the use of long-reach battery powered, and petrol driven machines.

This 1-day course will cover a range of topics including:
- Legislation

- Overview of equipment including: secateurs, loppers and shears
- Maintenance of petrol driven and battery powered machines
- Preparing and planning for the hedge trimming operation
- Basic pruning principles
- Machine operation (battery and petrol driven)
- Cutting techniques

- On successful completion of the training, a Lantra Awards certificate will be issued
