Refresher/Update Training
All our training courses can also be run as Refreshers – update training for those who have received previous training but wish to refresh their skills and knowledge. Refresher courses are essentially compact versions of the original full course and therefore duration is typically reduced, but flexible, depending on individual needs.

Online Learning
We offer 1:1 or small group training sessions online, for classroom-based learning covering a range of topics, both theoretical and practical. 9 hours contact time (3 x 3-hour sessions recommended over 3 days)

- Determining Safe Work Loads
- Types of damage and defects
- Maintenance
- Decision making protocols for accepting or rejecting components
- Reporting and Recording procedures
Rigging Forces
4 hours contact time (2 x 2-hour sessions recommended)
- Estimating the mass and weight of sections
- Estimating worst case scenario Peak forces
- Selection of suitable equipment capable of withstanding anticipated forces whilst maintaining sufficient safety margins
NPTC Assessor Standard Setting/Updating
