Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue
This course introduces trainees to the main principles of tree climbing and will enable a range of rescue techniques to be performed from different tree structures.

This 5-day course will cover the following topics:
- Legislation
- Risk Assessment including site zonation and communication
- PPE and First Aid Provision
- Tree care overview (understanding the importance of appropriate work position techniques and their significance in relation to good tree care practice)
- Visual tree assessment
- Climbing system selection, inspection, and system design
- Ascent and work positioning techniques within the crown and on vertical stem wood
- Range of rescue techniques
- Deinstalling and retrieving climbing systems
Notes
- On completion of the training, a Treepartner Training Record of Training and Achievement (certificate) will be issued
- Following successful completion of the training, Treepartner Training Ltd can organise the related City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Certificate of Competence in Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue (Qualification No: 0039-22)
