Based in the Lake District, Treepartner Training Ltd is a well-established and dynamic tree worker training company fronted by Richard Allmond. We offer quality, up-to-date training that is fit for purpose in real work situations, and our courses can be tailor made to suit individual and group requirements.

Richard is an experienced trainer and assessor within the tree care industry and has made significant contributions to UK industry guidance and Health and Safety Executive publications. He is employed as a Technical Verifier by both Lantra and City & Guilds, and Treepartner Training Ltd is also an approved Lantra Provider.
In 2025 Richard took on a new role as a Technical Advisor for DMM providing support and advice for customer and staff technical queries. Richard has a broad knowledge of outdoor and rescue activities having previously worked in outdoor pursuits and as a mountain safety advisor in oil exploration.

Treepartner Training is supported by Richard’s partner Carly who deals with the administrative side of the business. A former teacher and Mum to their 3 boys, Carly is responsible for course enquiries and bookings, NPTC assessment registrations, course materials, invoicing and bookkeeping, amongst many other things!

 Since leaving school in 2024, our son Ben has been gaining practical skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications within forestry and arboriculture through Treepartner Training. He’s a fast learner, keen climber and shows lots of promise for the future – so watch this space!
