This 1-day course covers the following topics:
Legislation including the legal and safety implications of hazardous trees
Risk Assessment
The limits & scope of the surveys
Collecting and maintaining adequate information
Recognising hazardous trees and determining their levels of risk including legal and safety implications
Practical inspection exercises
Whilst the course is predominantly classroom-based, part of the day will be spent outside assessing a range of trees and associated defects.
